Hi Dale,
I have not forgotten you! Here is a picture of your Poster Girl!! “Lexie” has turned into a beautiful Yorkiechon! She is wonderful! She has been a wonderful addition to our lives. She has a fabulous personality. She is so cuddly and loving. But playful and very smart. We Love her so much. We can’t believe how much she has changed from her birth. It is hard to believe she could go thru so many color changes. She is now 7 months old. She is at the Vets today as she is being spayed. She came thru the surgery wonderful. We had it done with laser as it is supposed to be less painful for her and quicker recovery. So we are hoping. She has had all her vet appts and shots. She is a good little eater. She now weighs 4 lbs 7 oz. She is a very fast learner. She is house broke, which was really not a real big chore. We have kennel trained her and she goes for her kennel when we tell her it is time for bed. During the day, when we are not home, we have child gates and she stays in the kitchen with her Kennel available for her. But we have her blanket for her also, we call it her play area. As she keeps all her toys on the blanket. Although I think John is weakening and I feel she will probably soon be sleeping with us. She is a wonderful traveler. We bought her a car seat and have hooked her in from a puppy and she loves it and can see out but is safely confined to her seat. She has no problem with that. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She is a joy in our life and I think she feels the same about us. I would recommend a Yorkiechon to anyone. I would be happy to talk to anyone who is interested. So feel free to contact me if you need someone to testify what a wonderful puppy we have from your parents. I will send you several pictures. I hope you enjoy. Please let me know what you think. I will say, that I did not realize thru the puppy phase, how important grooming was. I would bath her and brush her. But I was not getting that deep down coat. I went to see my son for 2 weeks and John did not brush her as I thought she would be fine. When I got home, I realized she had deep mats next to her skin. I used tangle free for children, I tried conditioner. I could not get the mats out. So I took her to a groomer. She said no problem. John went to pick her up, he told her that was not his dog. She SHAVED her! We were mortified!! She looked like a skinny rack of bones, naked!!!! Only charged $20.00!!! Good grief we were shocked. So we went out and bought her sweaters and coats. She was froze. So now she has a wardrobe, as she loves to get dressed up. She has dresses, coats, shirts, sweatshirts, raincoat. She is adorable! So, this is the 7 month old “Lexie” and how she is today. Her coat is like silk. And her coloring is beautiful. You really can’t see it in these pictures, but her back is all silver and brown under neath. I am so happy we found you. It is a long trip for folks up here, but I tell everyone where I got her. So maybe some referrals will call you. WE are 2 happy parents of “Lexie”.
